Commercial Regional Sales Manager 

Emser Tile, LLC, the nationwide supplier of high-quality floor covering products servicing world-leading retailers, builders and contractors seeks an experienced Commercial Regional Sales Manager.

The Commercial Regional Sales Manager is responsible for mentoring Field Based Territory Sales Managers Representatives to enhance product sales and customer service to achieve goals and maximize market penetration and margin potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a team by cultivating an environment of high performance through target setting, measuring and managing work, team collaboration, performance management, employee development, career progression, ensuring the proper rewards and recognition are in place for high performance

  • Formulates strategies and programs into a Commercial Regional Sales plan with accurate and ongoing market analysis as well as short and long term goals for each market, and key customers

  • Responsible for creating an accurate forecast for the region and key accounts on a monthly basis and provide meaningful insights on customer and market performance.

  • Achieves annual sales targets within the Region.

  • Manages Regional Commercial budgets, and uses these funds with the highest return on investment to maintain and increase sales within the Region

  • Constructively manage personnel to foster business and personnel growth via coaching and developing.

  • Identifies process improvements, and provide solutions to increase field effectiveness and efficiencies to increase selling time

  • Develops plans and programs to increase sales with customers, convert prospects, and develop new market opportunities.

  • Ensures that the Region retains existing customers, converts new customers; develops and drives new initiatives and processes to ensure top-line growth

  • Develops key account relationships by demonstrating strong customer intimacy

  • Recruits, trains and develops a superior, aggressive and active team, providing optimal market coverage within the Emser culture and vision.

  • Monitors and communicates to senior leadership, business trends, distribution patterns, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance   informed of sales activities to ensure they are knowledgeable of relevant issues

  • Foster an environment of accountability, embrace change and change management and lead by example

 



Required Experience:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Emser customers and sales force

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • Most possess a minimum of 5-8 years of sales experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and measure work

  • Ability to live in market

  • High level of intellectual and emotional intelligence required

  • The ideal candidate will have a progressive career path with a proven track record of success and a strong demonstrated track record of achieving challenging goals

  • A “player-coach” with proven ability leading others, a leader by example

  • Steadfastly drives for results and instills a sense of accountability with the team

  • Ability to handle significant travel
